JPI (Joe’s Paving, based in Valley Center) will be out to repair our street Wednesday, November 9. This shouldn’t block traffic through the street, and will be done prior to resealing.
STREET RESEALING will be November 16, Wednesday. This is important – we cannot drive on the street for 24 hours. I’ve talked to Jim Wold on Banbury, he said we could park in his cul-de-sac for the one evening, and then walk to our homes. It will be one day of inconvenience, but it is necessary so the seal isn’t marked by car/truck tires before it sets. Please mark your calendar. Let potential visitors know, landscapers, maids, propane deliveries, etc. No driving on the street all day and night November 16.
I’ll put out signage for UPS/FedEx and contact the post office. Trash will be picked up as normal Tuesday morning – JPI will be here EARLY Wednesday and work all day. The street will be blocked off all day.
For those neighbors that want their driveways resealed at the same time by JPI, our contact is Sean Repko. His email is: email@example.com. Or call him directly on his mobile phone: 858-204-6190. Let him know you are part of the Sherwood Heights/Toyon Ridge HOA to work out getting your asphalt driveway resurfaced at the same time as the street. He’ll honor the quantity s.f. pricing.
I’ll put out more info in a few days, and we’ll review this Sunday.
